Who is Frank Angelone?

Hello, my name is Frank Angelone. I’m one of the Co-Founders of the Congress of Crumpets, Vice-Chair of the Committee of Crumpeteers, and a Senate Americano member. I’m a huge fan of coffee and trying different types of roasts. Personally, I’ve found that I enjoy whole bean coffee the most. Columbian roasts, in general, tend to be what I gravitate towards and I avoid flavored coffee at all costs. I only put a little half and half in my coffee, but I’ve also had it black. I like actually tasting the coffee. I don’t want to mask the taste. While I did start off in the early days of my coffee drinking adventures adding sugar, the thought of doing that now makes me nauseous.

I’m known to have tea from time to time as well, though, it’s not my first choice in the morning when I’m looking to wake myself up. I need that high-energy caffeine kick if you know what I mean. With that being said, I enjoy honey green tea, mint green tea, earl grey, and chamomile tea. I will not put anything in my tea. I just drink it as is; very similar to my diatribe about coffee. I do have to thank my fellow Co-Founder and Chair of the Committee of Crumpeteers and House of Tea-Reps member, Kevin Pechin – big props to him for introducing me to the tea varietal as I would have never have tried it otherwise.

Now crumpets… the heavenly breakfast of champions. Any time of the day they suffice! I’ve always sought out different kinds of crumpets and am always on the lookout for new ones to try. Picking a favorite is hard, though. However, I’ve noticed that my favorites tend to be those resembling a fig newton type of flavor. It just is the most delicious to my palette.

When I’m not serving my constituents in the Congress of Crumpets, I really enjoy playing and collecting Magic: The Gathering, watching sports, traveling, and playing guitar / making music. After a long day in congress, I find these activities are my best way to zen out – especially with a cup of coffee! Writing reviews and legislation is quite taxing on the brain.

On behalf of my fellow members of the Congress of Crumpets, I thank you for visiting our site and being a fellow constituent. I invite you to learn about our other members as well. The Congress of Crumpets is a lot of fun to be a part of and I look forward to you reading coffee reviews by my Senator Majority Lemur, Arabica Lemurista in the Senate Americano, and my reviews covering crumpets in the Committee of Crumpeteers.
